Join thousands in the Great Experiment, March 1-10.
You are invited to take part in The Great Experiment, a ten-day commitment to seek God with thousands of other Christians across America.Learn more and sign up at CU Day & Night.
We can unite as the Body of Christ to make a difference in the spiritual landscape of our nation.
For the first ten days in March, in addition to praying fervently, we commit to the following with like-minded friends in Christ. Each participant, whether part of a small group or participating as an individual, commits to the 5 "Rs":
Read & Pray. Spend 30 minutes every morning reading the Bible and praying, and also spend time in the evening doing the same (Luke 18:1-8). To intensify your devotional times, consider fasting for some of the days.
Repent. Consciously repent every day of all known sin and put away everything that may hinder your devotion to Christ (Hebrews 12:1,2).
Respond to the Holy Spirit. Seek God in the morning for the thing the Holy Spirit most desires for you to do that day, write it down and follow up that day (Psalm 143:10).
Represent Christ. Look to share Christ every day and speak about Christ publicly (Acts 1:8). Write down the names of five people on your heart. Pray for their salvation every day during the Great Experiment. Trust God for opportunities to share Christ with them.
Raise Your Faith. Commit to a Joshua Faith Challenge. Pray and ask God to show you something you can do to put your faith into works. It should be bold, out of the ordinary, and require courageous faith in God (Joshua 1:8,9).
Your own walk with Jesus will be challenged and refreshed, as it was for more than 4,500 people who participated in The Great Experiment last October.
Tim Keller shared:
Over the last three centuries, revivals have had a great impact. Between 1730 and 1830 successive movements of the Holy Spirit brought a large proportion of the population into the churches. These awakenings are not ultimately the result of marketing or organization. They come, by God’s grace and in his time, in response to extraordinary prayer. Christian Union Day and Night is making a serious attempt to spark this kind of prayer and devotion. I welcome it, and I’m very encouraged by it.
