February is a short month, yet packed full of opportunities to celebrate and look forward. In New York, we recently celebrated the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Lunar New Year. We also look forward to Valentine’s Day and the start of the Lenten season. The New York team has been encouraged by conversations with leaders, pastors, and friends who are praying for spiritual awakening in our city and our nation.
This month we ask for your continued prayers for the following:
- Ministry Fellow Recruiting: Christian Union is seeking a full-time male Ministry Fellow to serve in New York City. Please pray that God would bring a man with a deep walk with God and a passion for evangelism and discipleship.
- Christian Union New York Leadership Forum: On January 30, Christian Union New York hosted a Leadership Forum with Dr. Os Guinness, who spoke on “Carpe Diem Redeemed: Seizing the Day, Discerning the Times.” Please pray that Dr. Guinness’ words would continue to resonate with those who attended, and that the Lord would bring revival to our city and nation.
- Christian Union New York Bible Courses: Please pray for our Christian Union New York Bible Courses which will conclude this month. Pray that the participants will continue to grow in their faith, and that the seeds of truth that were planted will bear fruit in their lives.
- Upcoming Events: Christian Union New York will host our upcoming Bible Course Dinner on February 27. Please pray that this event would be a time of rich fellowship and spiritual encouragement.
- We are asking God to bring spiritual awakening to New York City and to our nation! Please join us in praying for revival, 15 minutes per day, for at least one month.
