How to Fight Fear With Love
By Arthur BrooksFrom The Atlantic
The Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu wrote in the Tao Te Ching, “Through Love, one has no fear.” More than 500 years later, Saint John the Apostle said the same thing: “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
This is a very strong argument: Love neutralizes fear. It took about 2,000 years, but contemporary neurobiological evidence has revealed that Lao Tzu and Saint John were absolutely on the money.

Prayer Requests
UNIVERSITY MINISTRIES
Please pray for our ministry faculty as they prepare for the upcoming semester. Pray for wisdom and guidance on how to lead and teach students well while juggling the restrictions and challenges that come from the COVID-19 pandemic. Pray also that the Lord would minister to them in unique ways as they faithfully minister to students.
CITY MINISTRIES
Please pray with us for the many New Yorkers who are currently living outside the city and determining when or if to move back. We need men and women of faith to be part of renewing the city, especially those places which need spiritual and physical restoration. This will require boldness and courage.
DAY & NIGHT
We are calling on God to greatly increase visits to www.dayandnight.org, that more Christians will benefit from the resources available there. May the Lord use the articles and videos this ministry has produced to strengthen His people spiritually and enlarge His kingdom!
