Note: Even if you’re unable to attend this event we would appreciate your prayers. We are told in James 5 that the prayers of a righteous person has great power. As we pursue living faithfully and redemptively, we are wise to heed John Wesley’s comment, “God does nothing except in response to believing prayer” – and pray for God to do His wonderful work in and through us.

Topic

Reading the World: Politics and the Science of Interpretation
There is a growing need for Christians to read the world carefully in light of Scripture and the insights/challenges of modern hermeneutics. Cultural norms have changed dramatically over the past decades, and today less faithfully reflect even the idea of the biblical view of human flourishing. Our ability to connect understanding of the world with understanding of scripture is of growing importance to the church.
