Help others catch the fire God started in you.
Are you a Christian Union student in your senior year prayerfully considering what to do next? Think of the discipleship you have received and the Christian community you have experienced during these years at your university. Someone welcomed you. Someone opened Scripture with you. Someone met with you, prayed for you, challenged you, and helped you grow closer to God.
Through a Christian Union internship, you can become that person for others.
Invest a year in helping students encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and become Christian leaders—while deepening your own walk with God and developing gifts in preparation for your future.
Explore an Internship
You may be God’s plan for lasting impact…
You know your campus better than most: its ambitions, questions, pressures, and possibilities. You know how crucial it is to find Christian community that strengthens and develops you, where students inspire one another to seek God.
As a CU intern, you’ll help build that community.
From welcoming first-years, to leading a Bible Course where truth transforms lives, to sharing the gospel with non-Christians, you will work with a team of professional ministers who deeply love the students of your university and are committed to the glory of God on your campus. You will minister alongside them, developing other young Christian leaders like yourself.
Think of it: the students you invest in will take the spiritual foundation you help build and carry it to their families, workplaces, churches, and communities. One year of investment can yield a lifetime of fruit, but not just for them!
Discover how much you’ll grow
An internship is an incredible opportunity to prioritize your own formation as a Christian leader.
Seeking God deeply.
Make room for a rich life of prayer, Scripture, worship, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. You will go deeper than ever into being “on mission”. Your devotional rhythms and reliance on the power of prayer could be deeply formative for the career that lies ahead of you.
Put your gifts into practice.
Teach the Bible, disciple students, share your faith. Give guidance to student leaders. Take meaningful responsibility in new realms and see how God can use your gifts—stretching you beyond the familiar.
Be mentored as you mentor others.
Serve the mission alongside experienced Christian Union faculty who will coach you, pray with you, and help you grow. You will have trusted leaders investing in you, as you invest in others full time.
Prepare yourself for a lifetime of influence.
Develop the courage to initiate, the wisdom to lead, and the priceless skill to care for people well. Whether your future lies in ministry, law, medicine, business, education, or another field, this year will give you an incredible foundation of character formation that will be invaluable wherever God calls you.
Could God be inviting you to this?
We’re looking for students with previous CU involvement, a growing love for Jesus, a teachable spirit, and a desire to help others follow Him. You don’t need to have your entire future mapped out. All you need is a willingness to seek God wholeheartedly, receive guidance, and take initiative in serving others.
Consider what a focused year of ministry could mean—for your campus, for the students you’ll meet, and for the person you are becoming. We believe this investment yields lifelong, even eternal, dividends.
