At Nexus 2017, Christian Union bestowed its Christian Leader of the Year Award to Liz Green.
/p>Each year, Christian Union commends and celebrates a man or woman who has set an inspiring example of what it means to live and lead for Christ.
This year, the ministry recognized Green for her persevering faithfulness to the Lord, and for the lives she has shaped through her command, and discerning application, of God’s Word.
Green’s faithfulness to Jesus Christ in every sphere of her life reminds us of the diverse, and seemingly humble, ways God uses His people to bless society.
Past recipients of the Christian Leader of the Year and Texas Christian Leader of the Years awards represent diverse fields and include: Pat Gelsinger, Kathryn Waldrep, Norm Miller, Robert P. George, and Bob Buford.
