Grace to you and peace from Christian Union Nova!
The weather in Princeton is beautiful and campus life is abuzz with activity! Being mindful of precautions, students are enjoying the sunshine as spring fever is in the air! Not only is the Melrose Center fast becoming a revolving door with students arriving to pray, to study, and practice vocally for worship, but students who normally joined the zoom calls for Bible course in isolation, have been found, in recent weeks, joining the study of Acts from outdoors under bright blue skies and on blankets along with others! It’s so refreshing.
Beyond the weather, Christian Union Nova was privileged to host “Alumni Vocations.” Participants from across Christian Union campuses heard from a panel of Princeton alumni regarding “Faith, Health, and Medicine.” Also, student participation in Bible courses continues to thrive, and our large group meetings remain strong!
God is answering your prayers as students are demonstrating strong leadership skills in serving the CU Nova community through fasting each Monday, and weekday prayer, as well as in planning events. For instance, TruThursday ended the month of March with a panel discussion from Princeton alumni Jessica Stephens (’14), Briana Payton (’17), and Joe Percival (’19) on faith, race, and life after Princeton. The following week, Encounter welcomed Ming Wilson (’18), a current Duke Divinity student, who talked about what “Flourishing Under God” actually means (a reference from Princeton University’s motto).
Indeed, Christian Union Nova is flourishing by God’s grace, your prayers, and your continued financial support. For this reason, we couldn’t be more grateful. On behalf of the ministry team here at Princeton, thank you for your demonstration of love for God and His students. It is our honor to serve but it is because of you that we can. Bless you.
If you’d like to target your prayers for us, please pray for:
- Our new Ministry Director, as viable candidates are identified and vetted;
- Our student leaders’ ability to balance service to others and personal responsibilities;
- Our faithful Senior class of students who are nearing the deadline for their theses;
- The spiritual development and wellbeing of all of our students;
- The strength of relationships among our freshmen class.
Thank you again for all of your support and happy Resurrection Sunday to you, and your family!
Agapé!
