…as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. - 1 Peter 2:2-3
In closing another school year, Christian Union remains committed to the spiritual development of students by creating opportunities to seek God through prayer and the study of Scripture. For this reason, eight Princeton students participated in a “Seeking God Lifestyle Seminar” because there is an earnest desire to grow in Christ, not just during the school year, but throughout the summer, and for that, we give thanks to God!
For two weeks, they gathered virtually via Zoom, along with other CU ministry students, to hear Theologian and General Editor of the English Study Version (ESV) Study Bible, Dr. Wayne Grudem speak from the topic, “Does Obedience Matter?” The following night, students heard from Christian Union Founder and CEO, Matt Bennett as he shared the impact of various revivals in America. Each night various CU ministry staff offered rich ministry. In response, every student expressed appreciation for the overall experience.
So, though campus life is now quiet, the semester closed with student leaders in thoughtful preparation for a vibrant fall, and the CU staff remains in the daily pursuit of God. God is faithful and your partnership is what makes it all possible. Thank you.
It is all a testament to your prayers and the sacrifice you have made to love students at Christian Union Nova! Thank you!
Please continue to pray as we stand together by His all-sufficient grace!
- New Director identified this summer;
- Students within Bible courses remain connected; and,
- Incoming freshmen connect to the Christian community at Princeton.
Agapé!
