Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Princeton! God is on the move here in Christian Union Nova and I’m excited to share with you some of the amazing things that are happening!

On March 1st, we welcomed local pastor Ian Graham, who gave a powerful message on the parable of the prodigal son. Many came forward at the end for prayer, as it touched the hearts of students. I think this was just what they needed before their midterms week and spring break.

Spring break is the time when we transition our student ministry team leaders! We’re thankful for our outgoing leaders and their incredible contributions to the ministry. Now it is time for the new team to get trained up and make an impact! One of the new things that our new student president and vice president have initiated is our Monday night intercessory prayer. This group has brought out our most dedicated prayer warriors, powerfully praying for revival at Princeton!

Last week, we invited Dr. Matthew Suh to speak on “The Religion of Science, Integration of Faith, and the Art of Healing - A Christian Surgeon’s Journey into Supernatural Faith” It was a powerful message and testimony, incorporating his career as a surgeon and his faith in Christ, and how the Lord miraculously healed him from a shoulder injury! The next day, we spent all of Saturday with Dr. Suh and his wife, Dr. Margaret Yoon, who is a practicing psychiatrist, training students on the subject of “Healing of Mental Illness from a Christian Perspective.” This included a ministry time at the end where several students experienced inner healing and deliverance from demonic oppression. These things are not common practice in the Western church but are very biblical, so students engaged and were extremely encouraged by the training and ministry time!

Lastly, I was able to meet up with an atheist student on campus. This student had come out to one of our Leadership Lecture Series with Ian Graham. He admitted to me that, although he doesn’t believe in God, he hasn’t “found his place” yet at Princeton, and was very encouraged by our community and by the message that night. He had been thinking about the topics of love and forgiveness earlier that day, before several of our students had invited him to our meeting. After sharing the gospel with him, I was able to give him two books, The Case for Christ and I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist, a title he found amusing. We are able to give these books and others away for free to students because of generous supporters like you! He received them with gladness and has agreed to meet with me again! Please pray for this precious freshman student, that he will be convinced of God’s love for him through Jesus Christ!

Please pray for many more students to come to know the gospel of Jesus Christ, for our new student leaders to grow in their love for the lord and their leadership skills, for our faculty to minister effectively to students out of the overflow of the Lord’s grace to us, and that God will send revival to Princeton!
