Dear Prayer Partner,
It's hard to believe that it's almost August and time to welcome another group of freshmen at Yale! Our summer Bible study on Genesis has gone well and engaged the students on campus with tools for studying God's Word, while engaging them on topics such as human origins and the problem of evil. Please pray that students here at Yale, and those far away, would be emboldened to live more fully for Christ and serve Him faithfully at Yale in the coming year.
I was speaking to two rising seniors in our ministry this week, and they expressed joy and gratitude at the opportunity to lead the fellowship this year and to engage the class of 2020 in its first weeks at Yale.
Please pray for the following:
- For our students to engage faithfully and fervently with the incoming freshmen and for freshmen to connect quickly to the Christian community on campus.
- That many would respond to God's initiative in their lives this year.
- That the class of 2020 would be a class marked by faithful witness to God and that this year we would see God unify and purify the body of Christ here.
- For our upperclassmen, that they would grow in hopeful expectancy of God's work on this campus and in bold witness.
- For our ministry team to grow in gratitude and love.
- For all to grow in holiness, humility and joy.
