Dear Prayer Partners,
Thank you for your ongoing prayers and support! The semester is officially at its midway point, and that means many tests, papers, problem sets (“p sets”)…and lots and lots of stress.
Walking with students in Yale Faith and Action (Christian Union’s ministry at Yale) through these times often means coaching them through stress management, encouraging them to sleep and eat, and being a source of spiritual encouragement when they feel overwhelmed by the obstacles before them. I often feel like a parent to these students (even though my own children are over a decade younger) and like a partner with their parents in caring for and guiding these precious young people. These students need prayer to grow in godliness and self-control through these times.
Pray also for the campus more broadly, for the Lord to draw students to Himself through their personal stresses, for freedom from their fears about the uncertain world they live in, and for a sense of His willingness to enter into their situations.
Pray for our nation, for Christian faithfulness and witness and for God's mercy in these times where many feel uncertain and afraid.
Thank you for your support,
Jane Hendrickson
