Dear Partners in Prayer,
Another academic year is behind us and we are so grateful for your prayers and support! We could not do the work that we do without your generous support! Thank you!
Thank you for praying for the Gary Thomas event on March 31. We had over 200 people in attendance and it was an incredible time of teaching on the pursuit of marriage (what makes a good marriage, spouse, etc). Many students commented on how helpful it was to their thinking about the purpose of dating and how desperately needed the wisdom was for them. Please pray that these students would make wise choices in terms of dating and marriage, especially that they would find partners with whom they can grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord. Pray too, for many singles who wish to be married but do not currently have prospects, that they would find all of their deepest needs met first in Christ.
In the last month, we have finished up the semester and bid farewell to our seniors. Please pray that our graduates would transition to life post-Yale with Christ at the forefront of their lives. Pray specifically that they would find faithful churches, mentors and friends with whom to share the next leg of the journey. Please pray that they would increasingly integrate their faith and vocation and lead others in doing the same.
Please also pray for our many underclassmen who will be undertaking various challenges this summer, that they would use the opportunity to grow deeper in their walks with the Lord. It is so easy in the Christian life to plan to seek the Lord “later,” but pray that they would see him wholeheartedly today.
Thank you so much for your prayers. God bless you!
Sincerely,
Jane Hendrickson
