Dear Prayer Partners,
As always, we give thanks to God for your ongoing support. As I write this, we are looking forward to an outreach event this afternoon: a screening of the film Emanuel and conversation with producer Dimas Salaberrios, a long-time friend of Christian Union. While the event will already have taken place by the time you are reading this, please pray that the conversation would continue and that hearts would continue to be stirred and drawn to the Lord by the film's powerful witness to the Spirit of forgiveness.
We also invite you to participate in the Collegiate Day of Prayer on Thursday, February 27. Yale will be hosting this nationally-simulcast event, which was revived in recent years after an initial run that began here in the early 19th century. Anyone can go on the website and sign up to adopt a campus; more than two thousand campuses are currently represented. Pray that God will pour out His Spirit on these campuses and change the hearts of young men and women across this nation, first bringing conviction leading to repentance within the household of God, and then bringing honor to Himself through us and drawing in those who do not yet acknowledge Him.
Finally, we ask you to pray with us at this time of year for our transition to new student leaders. We're very happy to have our two co-presidents staying on for another year. Our various ministry team leaders will cycle into new roles over spring break, and we are grateful to have a very promising cohort of new leaders stepping up for the coming year. Pray that the Lord would keep them from every evil and distraction, and that He would draw near to each of them as they seek to walk with Him in faithful and fruitful service.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, enfold you in the light of His presence, and give you peace.
