Dear Cornerstone Partners and friends of CU Lux,

Thank you for your partnership by praying for the ministry of CU Lux throughout the summer months. The lives of our students continue to be enriched by our summer prayer meetings on Mondays and Fridays and our weekly intercampus prayer calls with students across different Ivy League universities. The student commitment to prayerful connection with God and each other is encouraging. An online prayer board was created to post prayer requests, intercede for others, and share answered prayers.

God’s love abounds here at CU Lux, and we are eager to see what he will do with the remainder of the summer and into the new academic year. As our student leaders are already planning fall social and outreach activities to display the life-giving love of Christ to the Yale community, please continue to pray for the following:

The pre-retreat: Pray that the students attending the pre-retreat will leave feeling encouraged, equipped, and empowered to advance God’s love on Yale’s campus and form a Christian community centered on Jesus Christ.

The student leaders: Pray that God will give the executive team and all student leaders extraordinary grace, asking God to meet their physical and spiritual needs and give them wisdom and discernment as they plan for the coming year.

The incoming class: Pray that God will prepare the hearts of incoming first-year students, asking God to strengthen and encourage them and provide them opportunities to find encouragement and support within a Christian community.
