Debbie Boyce
Debbie Boyce graduated from Princeton University in 1979 with an AB in Spanish Literature. She worked in banking, accounting, and served in the US Army Reserves. In 1985, she and her husband began work as campus ministers for Princeton Evangelical Fellowship. She has served with PEF for over 25 years, while also raising and homeschooling her four children, now ages 21-30. In 2011, she received a Masters of Arts in Religion with an emphasis in biblical counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Her particular area of interest has been understanding and teaching the biblical passages on men and women, their roles in the family and church, and the balance of their families with their careers.
Dr. Wayne Johnson
Dr. Johnson is Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology and Director of the MDiv program at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Over the past thirty years he has served in a broad range of pastoral, educational, worship, and cross-cultural ministries from New England to Singapore. He holds a PhD in Hermeneutics and New Testament from Westminster Theological Seminary, a ThM and MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a BA in Music from Dartmouth College, where he also met his wife. He enjoys talking with students about ministry vocations and teaches courses in spiritual formation, hermeneutics, biblical theology and Christian worship. He is married with four grown children and lives in Round Lake Beach, Il.
Preston Graham
Preston grew up in Atlanta, GA, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Psychology. Preston spent a brief stint in business before entering the ministry as a campus minister/director for seven years. During these years, Preston developed a passion for the poor and founded/directed a four year summer mission project targeting a low-income community in the inner city of Atlanta. Preston received his MDiv from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. During this time, Preston founded and grew a campus ministry at Gordon College, while serving as interim pastor in Braintree, MA, for one year. Preston received the STM degree in American Religious History at Yale University. It was during this time that Preston was asked to teach a Bible study wherein a passion emerged to reunite a Christ centered “high gospel” (grace) and “high church”(communal, sacramental, confessional) kind of spirituality to a missional vision for center city New Haven which led to the “unplanned” birth of Christ Presbyterian Church, New Haven. Preston later received a doctorate from a joint degree program at The University of Aberdeen and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. In addition to being the Sr. Pastor of CPC New Haven, Preston is an adjunct Professor of Reformed Ecclesiology and Pastoral Theology at Gordon Conwell. Preston and his wife Lisa have been married for over 27 years and are recent “empty nesters.”
Moderator: Damaris Taylor
Damaris Taylor will be serving as moderator for this panel. Damaris is the youth director at Fort Square Presbyterian Church in Quincy, MA. He also works as a program director for the Boston Project Ministries, a Christian community development organization, overseeing mission trips in the city. He is deeply committed to seeing the Church equipped and trained to serve God and love His creation. Damaris received his AB in the Comparative Study of Religion from Harvard University in 2012.
