Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. — James 5:16

The Legacy of Influence

D. Michael Lindsay
From Christian Union

This presentation, by award-winning sociologist and educator — and president of Gordon College — D. Michael Lindsay, was delivered at the Nexus Professionals Conference in April 2017. It draws from hundreds of face-to-face interviews with America’s most senior leaders in government, nonprofit life, and business to explore how we can be intentional, mindful, and meaningful with our work in such a way that it will have lasting influence for Christ and the common good.

We Need a Heaven-Sent Revival

By Billy Graham
From DayandNight.org

Christian Union Day & Night points us to a classic message from Billy Graham, in which he observes, "The Prophet Habakkuk once stood in the midst of a people who had been showered with every conceivable blessing but who had lost their spiritual sanity, and he cried, 'O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years!' Religious Freedom and Discrimination

By Albert Mohler
From The Gospel Coalition

Albert Mohler reviewed an important new book co-written by Princeton alumni (and friends of Christian Union) Ryan T. Anderson and Sherif Girgis. You can’t get second things by putting them first. You get second things only by putting first things first."

In other words, overvaluing a lesser good results, paradoxically, in losing it. In a letter ..."

Prayer Requests

UNIVERSITY MINISTRIES
Please pray for the new ministry faculty and staff who have joined Christian Union — and for guidance as we are still seeking to hire several key people for the university side of the ministry. And pray that all of our ministry faculty would enjoy a summer respite from the busyness of the school year, that the Lord would refresh and strengthen them as they look forward to the fall.

CITY MINISTRIES
We know that culture changes through networks and institutions over long periods of time. Christian Union New York is developing networks in finance, technology and media to solidify a faithful presence in those spheres. Please continue to pray for men and women to populate and lead these networks.

CHRISTIAN UNION DAY & NIGHT
We are asking God to draw near to us as we draw near to Him. God, do a mighty work in America! Would you commit to praying for revival, 15 minutes per day, for at least one month? Sign up here >
