Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand
and marked off the heavens with a span,
enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure
and weighed the mountains in scales
and the hills in a balance?

How to Navigate Conversations About Sexual Identity
By Sam AllberryFrom DesiringGod.org
Sam Allberry, associate pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Maidenhead, England, addressed the Church of England General Synod in London on his own same-sex attraction last year (if you missed that you can listen to it here). Rev. Allberry affirms the biblical view of marriage as a union between a man and a woman. He believes this view of marriage is life-giving and the only godly context for sex, which is why he is committed to living a celibate life. Here he shares insights and wisdom he's gained through discussing sexual identity issues with others.

Glorious Ruins
By Tucker ElseFrom ChristianUnion.org
Not long ago, I was looking at some photographs by Tony Fouhse. He is an artist from Ottawa, Canada, and he had an exhibit at an Ottawa gallery depicting drug addicts in his native city. The pictures are striking. Matted hair, wrinkled and tired faces, torn clothing, and stories of pain and loss etched in the addicts’ countenances. And yet something is surprising in nearly all of the portraits: the eyes still gleam.

The Abundant Life and Greek Life
By Francine BarchettFrom ChristianUnion.org
In February, a Cornell fraternity made national headlines for a disturbing hazing incident that awarded points for sexual activity and simultaneously degraded women.
Negative press on fraternity and sorority culture is hardly a Cornell-specific phenomenon. It reinforces a long-enduring sentiment that Greek life and high ethical standards are mutually exclusive. However, for Alanna Staffin ’18, David Navadeh ’19, and Chris Arce ’19, that perception is far from...

Prayer Requests
UNIVERSITY MINISTRIES
Please join with students across our universities praying for revival, that God would show Himself in a mighty way, that the students praying would be encouraged by the Holy Spirit, and that many other sons and daughters would come to saving faith in Christ. Also pray that God would direct the steps of those students who are seeking and applying for 2019 summer internships, that they might serve others to the glory of God.
CITY MINISTRIES
Please pray for Justin Earley who is set to speak at CU Cities Salons in both New York and D.C. this month. Pray that he would be equipped with wisdom and that his presentation of the importance of spiritual habits in the workplace would stir the hearts of our young professionals to make room for the Holy Spirit to permeate their workplaces.
DAY & NIGHT
The next major event we are organizing is a ten-day fast, January 7-16, 2019. Pray for wisdom and creativity as we prepare and plan this coordinated fast with Christians across America. We are readying the website, www.DayAndNight.org, and other materials. Pray for great effectiveness in recruiting participants, including both seasoned and first-time fasters. May God be glorified even as we plan this outreach.
