I was raised in a Christian home in southwestern Ontario. My parents took time each morning to read the Bible and pray. Both my brothers are devout. My sister-in-law is a Mennonite pastor. I have had a different experience from the rest of the family. I was the only one to move away from Canada. And I have even been the only one to move away from the Church. I attended Washington Community Fellowship when I lived in Washington D.C. But once I moved to New York I stopped attending any kind of religious fellowship. I have often wondered why it happened that way? Why had I wandered off the path taken by the rest of my family?
What I understand now is that I was one of those who did not appreciate the weapons of the spirit.

Please pray that the students who participate in CU ministries would finish their semester well. As the semester begins to wind down, pray that they would continue to pursue the Lord with the same intensity that they devote to their academics.
CITY MINISTRIES
Please pray that the church in NYC will be strong in truth and love. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us in His ways. Beseech the Lord that as we, the Bride of Christ in NYC, lead our respective industries and ministries with truth, love, and courage. Pray that God Himself will preserve our cherished Christian unity in times of potential crisis. Lastly, please pray that we can soon host in-person events safely and finally share in fellowship together again!

Pray for a godly posture among American Christians as it pertains to the election. Let’s pray for election integrity, the legal process, and peace in the outcome. Above all, let’s pray for and work for the advancement of God’s eternal kingdom in our country.

Thank God for the way that his Church throughout the nation embraced repentance and prayer through CU Day and Night’s "Seeking God in September" and "The Return" and "Prayer March" in Washington D.C. Pray for the Lord to work these ideals into American Christians even more until we are fully alive for Christ.
