Fasting, Bible Studies, Mentorship, Retreats, and More Will Be Available Through CU America

Christian Union recently announced the formation of CU America, which will focus on inspiring, encouraging, and networking adults across the country to wholeheartedly seek the Lord, repent of sins, grow bold in their faith, and pray diligently for national revival.
CU Universities, established with the founding of the leadership development ministry twenty years ago, is the other arm of Christian Union. The focus of CU Universities is on students and faculty at some of the nation’s most influential universities.
As Christian Union “seeks a spiritually vibrant nation marked by Christian values permeating every corner of society,” CU America is comprised of four components: CU Fire Retreats, CU National Fasts, CU New York, and CU Society (alumni and professionals).
CU Fire Retreats are small group experiences designed for the rejuvenation and inspiration of Christians. They are led by local hosts and by Christian Union leadership through online videos and an online event app. CU Fire retreats will help hosts and their friends see a new work of God in their lives and in their communities.
Attendees immerse themselves in God through worship, prayer, Bible reading, challenging messages from Scripture, fasting, and being with like-minded Christians. CU Fire is a one-of-a-kind event to strengthen your relationship with the Lord and deepen friendships with fellow believers.
CU National Fasts are mobilizing the body of Christ, helping thousands of Christians across America to fast, pray, repent of sins, and seek God’s face on a daily basis. There are two major fasts per year. The ministry has recruited thousands of prayer warriors to seek God daily for His favor and blessing to be poured out. In January, 4,500 American Christians joined Christian Union’s fourteen-day fast. Periodic devotional initiatives, social media posts, and other specialized content encourage believers to live wholeheartedly for God and receive fillings of the Holy Spirit.
“Revivals are always preceded by widespread devout prayer, so this is an essential component,” said Dr. Chuck Hetzler, director of CU America. “When Christians in a nation humble themselves with fasting, prayer, seeking God’s face, and repenting of our sins, God not only blesses the individual Christians who do so, but He also blesses the entire nation.”
CU New York is passionate about bringing revival to America by developing, connecting, empowering, and equipping bold Christian leaders in their city. The ministry unites influential leaders in business, government, finance, law, media, medicine, vocational ministry, and other key industries. The multiplicative power of connecting spiritually vibrant, high-level leaders in every sector of society in New York can transform the city and ignite revival fires that can spread to other major cities.
CU Society, a place where Christian leaders connect, is comprised of alumni from Christian Union Universities ministries and Cornerstone Partners, who support the mission and work of CU financially and through prayer. CU Society exists to forge bonds between like-minded believers to strengthen them and their communities. This happens through small groups, events, a directory for connection-making, job listings, and other resources.
