By Eric Metaxas
From Breakpoint Commentaries

De-Judging Boy Scouts

Freedom of religion, freedom of association — these rights are guaranteed by the Constitution. But I guess a guarantee isn't what it used to be. Prayer Requests

Praise God that six Harvard Law students involved with Christian Union will attend the Blackstone Legal Fellowship this summer. The program seeks to develop Christian leaders in the legal system to defend and fully protect God-given rights. Please pray for these students as they prepare and grow in their passion for law and the Gospel.

Please pray for the prospective students at each university where Christian Union ministers (Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Yale and Harvard Law School). Students involved in Christian Union's ministry at Penn have a unique opportunity to be recognized at a Penn "Quaker Days" event because the university has observed that the ministry is a welcoming and healthy organization in which future students could be involved.

Pray for sophomore and junior students who are involved in Christian Union Bible Courses, as they study Acts and gain a broader picture of the first Christian church. Praise God that for some students, their study has spurred on greater boldness, motivation for evangelism and conversations with their non-believing friends.
