We hope you’ve all had a wonderfully refreshing and blessed Thanksgiving! Here at Brown, the ministry has so much to be thankful for this semester. CU Libertas continues to see the Lord work in the hearts and minds of our students. Despite the difficulties we’ve all faced during this abnormal season, students are seeing the fruits of faith toughened by extenuating circumstances, they’re sharing the gospel in creative ways with family and friends, and they’re relying on one another through prayer and new expressions of communal bond.
Please pray that:
- Students will be safe as they travel during the holiday season. Many will leave campus at Thanksgiving and will not return until the spring. Pray that the Lord will give them health and encouragement as they visit with family and welcome the many comforts of home.
- Those students who remain on campus through Christmas will experience the same kind of warm affection and support as their peers who return home. Many students have struggled with isolation and depression as they labor through exams secluded in their (often dreary) dorm rooms. Pray that their Christmas experience will be filled with joy and contentment in tangible, life-giving ways.
- The Lord will be known and glorified on campus — among the students, faculty, and support staff. Historically, ministries have struggled at Brown and within the city of Providence. This can be a very tough place for those who labor to share the Gospel. Pray that our partners in campus ministry and churches in the area will see much fruit in the coming months. We want to welcome the new year on fire for the work of evangelism.
Thank you for your prayers and financial support! Your partnership is so deeply appreciated and the students and ministry faculty of CU Libertas are ever grateful for your help in sharing the love of Christ with the Brown University community.
Blessings,
The Faculty and Students of CU Libertas
