Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
Greetings from Providence! On May 2, Brown held commencement exercises celebrating this year’s graduating class. It’s always hard to say goodbye to the seniors we’ve come to know so well and love so much. This year was certainly no exception, but we praise the Lord that students were able to walk in person with family in attendance. These students have demonstrated remarkable perseverance, maturity beyond their years, and an abundance of grace over the last two years. We’re excited to see where the Lord leads them in the years to come and feel so grateful for the privilege we’ve been given to walk beside them during their time here on campus.
Please pray for the seniors as they get settled into their new jobs, internships, and graduate studies. Over the months to come, they’ll be adjusting to life in new cities—new churches, new social circles, new living arrangements. Pray that they’ll feel warmly welcomed by life-giving Christian communities and that logistical challenges will not stand in the way of their continued growth.
Pray for the summer term which began in mid-May. We’ve never had students in session over the summer like this before! Pray for these freshmen—that many will come to know Christ, that they’ll develop strong relationships with classmates, and that God will move in unique ways during this season.
Pray for students who will be spending the summer break at home, perhaps in less than ideal circumstances. Pray that they will be protected from old, familiar temptations. Pray that they will have the strength and boldness to share their faith with family and friends. Pray that they will be comforted, sustained, and encouraged by the Lord. We never want to assume that our students go home to healthy family situations.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We are truly grateful for your love.
