Thank you so much for your support and partnership with us in advancing the gospel here at Brown. This has been an incredibly difficult year for the students, but we are filled with joyful anticipation for the fall. We expect campus to be fully open, with minimal restrictions, and are eager to greet incoming freshmen with our welcoming campaign in September. We expect great things to happen on campus as students return to their normal rhythms this fall! As a staff, we’re anticipating our weekly schedules to be filled with one-on-one discipleship meetings. So many of the young men and women are trying to process what they’ve experienced over the last 18 months. We expect robust attendance at Bible courses as well. How refreshing it will be to share a meal, discuss Scripture, and pray together! Most importantly, we look forward to presenting the gospel to a very hungry audience across campus and the wider Brown community. Our student leaders will be busy planning outreach and evangelism activities to show their peers the compelling, life-giving love of Christ.
Would you please pray for:
- The incoming freshmen. Pray that God would raise up student leaders eager to engage their peers and lead them into finding a Christian fellowship. Pray that these students would find support, encouragement, and the welcoming embrace of a Spirit-inspired community.
- The Executive Team. Pray that God would give them abundant wisdom, strength, and vision as they make plans for the coming year.
- Our pre-retreat. This will be a pivotal time for our ministry to gain momentum and equip the leadership team for the coming year. Pray that this will be a productive time in which students leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, and excited about the coming year.
Thanks for your partnership in the gospel here at CU Libertas and for your many prayers on our behalf.
