Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
Greetings from Christian Union Libertas! We are so thankful for your partnership in supporting the work here at Brown.
The students are in the middle of reading week, studying for final exams, and putting the final touches on papers and group projects. Our seniors are looking forward to commencement exercises later this month. Here in Providence, the weather remains far too chilly for our liking, but our Lord remains ever faithful! We’ve seen so much spiritual growth in our students, and with each passing week, they become an increasingly tighter-knit community. We’ve seen so many new faces visiting the Judson Center to share meals and ask honest, heartfelt questions about the Christian faith. We’ve set up tables on campus to give away coffee, Chick-fil-A, and donuts. Our hope in doing these outreach events is to share the gospel through a simple act of love—a free gift that shows students the warmth, joy, and hope that can be found in Christ. Every time we set up a table, we’re enthused by both the level of sincere engagement and the excitement we see in the students as they talk with their peers!
Please pray that our students will finish well. Pray that the Lord will relieve the stress and anxiety that naturally occur during this busy season. Pray that they will stay well-rested and involved in healthy rhythms (sin so easily creeps in during times of exhaustion). Finally, please join us in praising the Lord for the good work that has happened this semester. We have a wonderful team of student leaders who have truly stepped it up this year. Their passion for Christ is exemplary, and the love they have for one another is contagious.
God is at work here at Brown! Thank you for joining us in seeing His goodness, truth, and beauty spread across campus.
