Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
This is a wonderful and sad time of year! We had the bittersweet privilege of saying goodbye to our seniors over commencement weekend, celebrating with their families, and wishing them well as they begin the next chapter of their lives. Over the course of four years, we are blessed to witness firsthand the growth and maturation of these young men and women. We see the Lord work in their lives and walk with them through the ups and downs of their college careers. It’s so rewarding and we’re so thankful that we have the opportunity to work with them, even if it’s just for a few all-too-brief years. As the weather warms, downtown Providence empties as locals flock to the beach. We’ll be busy connecting with students on Zoom, continuing personal discipleship meetings, and planning for the fall with our returning leaders. We’ll be preparing to greet the class of 2026 by workshopping ideas for campus-wide outreach events. The summer always seems to fly by!
Please pray for our graduates. Pray that they will find new church homes that preach and teach the gospel. Pray that they will find supportive and encouraging communities. And, pray that they will stay strong in their faith. This transitional season can be filled with anxieties and unexpected stressors. Pray that they will experience an abundance of peace and comfort through the Spirit. Pray that they will find solace in the regular rhythms of prayer, reading Scripture, and plugging into grace-filled relationships.
Pray for the incoming freshmen. We want them to plug into a Christian community as quickly as possible once they reach campus. Pray that the Lord will soften their hearts prior to matriculation, removing any and all cynicism. Pray that they will experience breakthroughs, and a healthy seeking and questioning will spring up inside them.
Thank you for your prayers and financial support!
