Greetings from CU Libertas!
This is CU Libertas’ favorite time of year in ministry as we welcome new incoming freshmen to one on one discipleship meetings and events. Recently we had our pre-retreat at the Judson Ministry Center to reconvene and prepare for the 23-24 academic year. The excitement of the students to see their campus reached for Christ was contagious.
Included in our times of fellowship and prayer, was the preparation for our upcoming freshman campaign. We have meaningful and fun events lined up including Games on the Green, Sunday church meet-up with brunch afterwards, and a block party with live worship outside our ministry center. As we sought the Lord at pre-retreat for His purposes for our campus this academic year, we were greatly encouraged, sensing that students who never heard the Good News of the Gospel, will hear this year through the commitment of our student leaders to make Jesus Christ known campus wide.
These specific prayer intentions were lifted up during our pre-retreat and we would love for you to join us in praying.
- Pray for receptiveness and excitement of the Class of 2027 to get involved in our ministry shortly after reaching campus (including additional student leaders).
- Intercede for students who seem farthest from God, that this would be the year they come to know Him as their personal Lord and savior.
There is a harvest of souls who are longing to hear the Gospel at Brown University! Through your ongoing support and faithfulness, many lives will be transformed this year by the Gospel going forth and spreading throughout campus.
