As I write this, I pray with joy and thankfulness for you and your partnership with us in the gospel at Cornell. We are expecting great things in the year ahead, for the Lord to work according to His good pleasure and His covenant promises. His steadfast love endures, even to this day, in each of your lives and communities, and on the campus of Cornell University, where we and our student leaders are endeavoring to follow Jesus for the sake of His saving and sanctifying work.
Thank you for your commitment to pray for us. God is willing and able to answer our prayers and we look forward to all He will do! Please continue to pray:
- For our student leaders, for their maturity in Christ, for joy in His presence, and a sincere willingness to serve the Lord at Cornell for the sake of revival and His glory.
- For our staff, for wisdom, strength, and love to serve and lead our students well. Pray that God will equip us to teach the Word so that it will have a transforming effect on every student.
- For incoming students, that they would find Christian community with us, other ministries, and the local church in Ithaca. With all of the new opportunities they will meet, pray that they will prioritize Jesus above all things.
- For every student in our ministry, pray that God would prepare their hearts to draw closer to Him through the Word, worship, prayer, and community in this year ahead.
- For our evangelistic efforts, that God would open many doors for the gospel at Cornell this year.
- For our pre-retreat August 21-22 at the Mott Center, that our time of fellowship, worship, and equipping would encourage our students leaders in Christ and the promises of the gospel, and prepare them for ministry in the year ahead.
Thank you!
