Dear CU Vita Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
We hope you are having a wonderful summer. Our students are enjoying all kinds of experiences all over the world during their summer break and it is a joy to know that they are shining the light of Christ and the glory of God wherever they are.
We are spending July preparing and praying for the fall semester, especially for reaching out to new students arriving in Ithaca in mid-August. We will also hold our annual pre-retreat before the semester begins. This will be a time for our student leaders to reconnect, worship, and plan for the semester ahead. We will be teaching through the book of Hebrews during the fall semester, so we and our student Bible course leaders are studying and preparing to discuss this rich and amazing book that highlights the glory and supremacy of Jesus Christ.
We have also been encouraged to see many of our recent graduates commit to partnering with us in prayer and support for the ministry that blessed them at Cornell, and that will, with their support, bless many more Cornell students in the coming years. We deeply appreciate the amazing community of partners that make this work possible. Please pray for our ministry this summer!
Pray for our students, that wherever they are this summer, they would stay close to God and His Word and be filled with the Holy Spirit and led by the Spirit in all that they do for the sake of God’s great plan of salvation.
Pray for our student leaders, that God would prepare them for the year ahead and fill them with wisdom, vision, love, and bold faith.
Pray for our staff, that we would have energy, discernment, wisdom, and love for leading our students well in this year ahead.
Pray for Cornell, that God would pour out his Spirit on the campus and open many doors for the gospel, and that the name of Christ would be glorified here like never before.
Pray for our outreach efforts to incoming students, that many new Cornell students would taste and see that the Lord is good as they experience CU Vita through our summer outreach and our events as the semester begins in August.
Thank you. We are so grateful for your steadfast partnership. May God be praised and may many Cornell students come to know Christ and grow strong in the faith this year!
