Dear CU Vita Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
Greetings from Ithaca!
We are off to an amazing start for the year here at Christian Union Vita! Cornell’s campus is buzzing once more as students fill the streets, hills, and slopes of this beautiful campus, and we have already been hard at work ministering to the thousands of students who are here.
We have already hosted a number of welcome events for freshmen, transfers, and returning students with over 70 in attendance at a pancake dinner open house the night before classes started. We also had a powerful time of worship, and students put their faith in Christ before classes even started. Bible Courses have started this week, and we are already approaching full rosters for each one in only our second week of classes! We are praising the Lord for what He is already doing, and we are so excited about what is yet to come!
I cannot thank you enough for your prayers and encouragement as we minister here at Cornell. Your faithful support is vital to the success of CU Vita, and we are so grateful for you!
Lastly, I'd like to share with you that our faithful ministry fellow, Liz Thomforde, has retired this academic year. Christian Union and all the students of CU Vita will miss her deeply, wish her the best in her future endeavors, and are forever grateful for her service to the Lord at Cornell for over a decade!
As always, if you have any questions about the work of CU Vita, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. I would be happy to speak with you.
Your support changes lives at Cornell!
Pressing On,
