Dear CU Vita Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
Greetings from Ithaca! God continues to move and do mighty things here on the campus of Cornell. Even as students face growing challenges and struggles, the Lord shows His mighty hand in ways both large and small, demonstrating His care and provision towards these precious students.
One of our student leaders recently shared her testimony at the Leadership Lecture Series (LLS), a recurring worship event led by students at the Mott Center. She related an incredible personal tragedy she endured in the last year but boldly proclaimed how the Lord had provided healing, restoration, and purpose through it all. She credited the godly support and guidance of CU Vita faculty who helped her grow through the trials and tribulations. Now she is on the front lines of spiritual battle, helping to shine the light of the gospel into the dark corners of defeat and shame.
Other students shared how they had been praying for a place where they could find Christian community. While scrolling through Instagram, they saw a post for one of our CU Vita events. They decided to attend and made several strong connections before the night was over. They expressed how thankful they were that God had led them to us, even weeks after the semester had begun!
We have also seen two additional students take the step of putting their faith in Christ this semester. God is so faithful and so gracious in His ways toward us, most clearly demonstrated through Christ and His atonement on our behalf. Continue to pray that the gospel of Jesus moves forward with power on the campus at Cornell!
As always, thank you so much for all you do spiritually and financially to empower the work of Christian Union Vita. Your support changes lives at Cornell!
Pressing On,
