Dear CU Vita Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Ithaca! We are racing through this semester at a breakneck pace. It is always hard to believe how fast these semesters actually go by as we are ministering to these students, but we are thankful for every opportunity–and there are so many!

We have a number of student athletes who are active at Christian Union Vita, and we love to show our support for them by attending their various events, such as football games, volleyball tournaments, and gymnastics competitions. As busy as they are with their athletic and academic responsibilities, they are always at the forefront of ministry events. Whether it's at our worship and social events, outreach, or as team leaders and members, they demonstrate their love for Christ by their willingness to stand up and be counted for Jesus. Our incoming Christian Union Vita president is actually a student athlete on the Cornell Varsity wrestling team–a fitting role for a warrior for Christ!

Christian Union Vita is excited to be hosting nationally recognized apologist Cliffe Knechtle at Cornell March 20th and 21st. Cliffe has been doing open forum question-and-answer sessions on college campuses for several decades, but his popularity has exploded in the past several years thanks to social media exposure. He and his son, Stuart, are being hosted by several Christian Union Universities' ministries this semester, and God is already using them to make a tremendous impact. Student leaders will be setting up open forums in public areas across Cornell to engage students who have questions about the Christian faith. These events generally draw hundreds of students who are hungry to engage with the truth of God’s Word, even if they are initially skeptical. Please pray that God uses these events to make a tremendous impact for the gospel and help to make Jesus the most talked-about subject at Cornell!

As always, I am so grateful for your prayers and support. We could not do what we do at Cornell without you being an integral part of our team through your prayers, encouragement, and financial support.

Pressing On,

Marcus Buckley, D. Min
