Hello from Hanover and CU Vox. Our winter term is well underway and the rhythms of classes and ministry have returned along with the snow and cold temperatures. It's a joy to have the sophomore and senior classes in residence this term as well as a few members of the freshman class who chose to remain on campus. While the constant changing of who is on campus and who is remote hurts continuity, it is a blessing to have concentrated in-person time with a smaller group of students. In spite of the continued pandemic challenges, the students remain joyful and participatory. I'm amazed by their resiliency and adaptiveness as they adjust to this new version of college life.
- Please pray that the students who are off campus this term would continue to participate and remain committed and engaged with Bible course and discipleship meetings. As disjointed as this academic year has been, there is a spirit of unity and connectedness, so pray that would continue to be present.
- Please thank God in prayer for our student leaders who have done an incredible job serving this year. They have been loving, servant-hearted, and creative and have turned a difficult time into a ministry opportunity. Pray that God would protect them, encourage them, and keep them from burnout.
- Please pray for the students as we study the Book of Acts this term. Pray that God would cause them to see the power of the Spirit that was at work in the early church is still working today. Pray that the explosion of new believers we see in Acts would similarly happen here on campus.
