Dear CU Vox Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

"I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." -Psalm 113:4-6

The winter term is ending here at Dartmouth, and our thoughts are bending towards all things spring. The students have finished up classes and are now completing their exams and heading home for a couple of weeks of well-earned vacation. We’ve had a great term, and are ready for the final third of our year to begin.

This also means that we’ve completed our leadership transition, with new students stepping up to lead Christian Union Vox for the coming year, with especially strong leadership from the class of 2028. It’s always a blessing to see young people answer the call to lead, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with what they are planning for the coming year. Christian Union Vox is growing stronger and stronger, all praise to God!

It’s a great time, in this March respite before the last push, to remember our true goal: to know Christ and become like him, pressing on “to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” Paul’s desperation, his yearning to know Christ, is so striking in these verses. But it’s clear from looking at our students that they share Paul’s determination. Seeing their consistency, commitment, and passion for the Lord is so striking. From students that give up the best work shifts to come to our meetings, turn in work early to arrive on time, and consistently bring their friends, the Christian Union Vox students show up in force. Praise God for their commitment! Combined with the power and faithfulness of God, it contains all the seeds for the radical change that Dartmouth so desperately needs.

For now we rest and then in the spring term turn our attention to evangelism, celebration, sending of our seniors, and preparation for the incoming class of 2029. Pray for this work: for rest for the students, for an increase in their passion and the knowledge of God, and for wisdom for us all.

Consider supporting us as well. Your gift goes far in bringing hope to a dying world.

For His glory,

Timothy Pillsbury
