—Romans 5:1
Greetings from cold Cambridge!
We are about a third of the way through the semester and our students are looking forward to Spring break, which is just a couple of weeks away. This week in our Romans study with the Juniors and Sophomores we were in chapter 5. What a wonderful reminder to all of us of the reality of our new standing before God. We have been justified by faith. We were made right with God by trusting in Jesus. And as a result, we can now have peace with God. A peace that cannot be quenched or conquered by anything life throws our way.
It is this gospel that has motivated our students to start an Alpha course here on campus. Alpha is essentially an evangelistic Bible study geared towards non-Christians. The turnout these first few weeks has been incredible. We are in awe of what God is doing at Harvard, how he is using our students and the lives that will continue to be transformed by the gospel.
Please join us in prayer for the following:
- Thanking God for a fruitful Winter Retreat, and all the students that were blessed and encouraged there.
- Thanking God for Ministry Fellow, Anne Kerhoulas, and for her 6-year investment in our community. For God to bless her and her family as they move to NC and as Anne has been happily redeployed within Christian Union.
- Continued attendance in Alpha and that this effort would reach all the right people on campus and for students to respond in faith toward Jesus.
- For the continued unfolding of our leadership transition. That the right students would serve in the right roles.
Thankful for your prayers!
In Christ,
