“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” - Romans 5:1
Spring is a time of beauty and blooming, especially signifying new life as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord on Easter Sunday. Praise God for the good news of the gospel, that through faith and repentance, we can be reconciled and have peace with God!
This spring semester most of our students have been studying the book of Romans, while the freshmen are now in the middle of the Sex & Spirituality Bible course. It has been a joy to grow the team at CU Gloria and minister together to the precious students that call CU Gloria home on Harvard’s campus, seeing them grow and flourish in their faith.
Praise the Lord for:
- Sadie’s Junior Ladies' Bible course, which continues to thrive, with many ladies attending regularly and inviting their friends.
- Jim, our newest Ministry Fellow, has hit the ground running, building lots of relationships with students and teaching the freshman and sophomore men’s Bible courses.
- The new executive team of student leaders is in place, and they’re doing a beautiful job in their new roles.
- Friday night Doxas continue to be a highlight of the week for everyone who attends, with great speakers like Nick Nowalk teaching on the Lord’s Prayer among others.
Please pray for:
- Students to come to know Christ during the CU Rise campaign, you can follow the Instagram page.
- Leadership transitions and that the Lord will give the staff and student leaders wisdom for every leadership pick for all the different roles in the student leadership team.
- For the outgoing seniors that they will make the most of their last few months on campus.
As always, thank you for your prayers and support in the ministry. Many Harvard students are growing in their relationships with Jesus because of your investment in CU Gloria.
Sincerely,
Fady Ghobrial
