Dear CU Martus Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
Greetings in the Lord! We now find ourselves heavily engaged with Bible courses, daily prayer, leadership development, Philia, Brogram, and reaching Penn students with the gospel.
As we engage students in the area of leadership development, we are seeing newly appointed student leaders rise to the occasion as they are taking ownership of their ministry areas and pouring into their peers and lowerclassmen. There is evidence of the sea level rising, as students are themselves growing in their faith and challenging others to greater maturity and devotion in Christ.
This growth is not just internal, it is also pouring out onto Penn’s campus, as we host a weekly table on Locust walk to reach students. These are times to engage Penn students, assess their level of spirituality, and create an opportunity to share the gospel with them. As we engage in the effort, I ask you join us in praying:
- “that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored” as we share the gospel (2 Thes 3:1).
- that our current students at CU Martus will be rooted and grounded in their faith and love of God, as many of them are asking tough theological questions and are seeking revelation from the Lord (Eph 3:16-19).
- that our times of outreach would be blessed by the Lord and we would see Him move in power at Penn (Acts 4:29-30).
- that our student leaders would continue to be developed into who God has made them to be: bold, strong, and devoted leaders.
