Princeton students are wrapping up summer classes or internships and heading home for a week or two before returning for the fall semester. Others have stayed on campus all Summer in various research positions. Thank you for your continuous support and prayers for CU Nova. You are making a difference in the lives of Princeton students for the Kingdom of God!
Students from Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Pennsylvania, Princeton, and Yale gathered at a two-week CU Spiritus student retreat at Camp of the Woods this past May. This retreat aims to strengthen some of our top student leaders to maximize their impact for Christ back on campus.
As we gear up for the fall, I’ve been meeting with the student officers and ministry team leaders, preparing to welcome the incoming class of 2027. Over the Summer, our students engage with incoming students online, forming friendships and building community before they even set foot on campus. In the Fall, we’re looking forward to hosting dozens of events and meeting as many Freshmen as possible to ensure everyone can participate in our vibrant Christian community. We prepare for this at our PreRetreat from August 30th to September 2nd. We’ll be seeking God, creating a biblically based community, and preparing for all the various ways to welcome incoming freshman students to the campus.
Would you please join us in praying for the following:
- PreRetreat: pray for all the students who will be attending. Pray that God will profoundly visit us as we seek His face and give us wisdom and creativity as we plan our freshman welcoming events.
- Student Ministry Leaders: pray for the student leaders as they plan for the upcoming semester. Pray that God will give them wisdom, insight, and strength to accomplish all the tasks before them. Pray that the summer will be a time of their hearts being refreshed.
- Incoming Freshman: pray for all the new students joining Princeton this fall. Pray that they could connect with Christian Union Nova students and experience the hope and joy of the Gospel through deep and meaningful relationships.
- New Faculty: pray as we search for a new Ministry Director and an additional Women’s Ministry Fellow that the Lord would bring the right people to our ministry!
