Summer starts late for Stanford students, but it is finally here. Our pace of life will be a bit different between now and September 19 when the incoming freshman arrive on campus. Please pray that the intervening months are refreshing and productive for us! Here are some specific ways you can do that:
- Most of our students have committed together to read through the New Testament in 90 days this summer (with this plan, if you want to join us!). Please pray that the word of Christ would dwell in us richly (Colossians 3:16) and that our minds would be renewed by it—and that we would all finish what we’ve started!
- While students involved with our ministry are spread throughout the country (and some in other parts of the world), please pray that they would grow in their love for Christ and others, that God would keep them from stumbling, and that God would bless them in their work, recreation, and relationships.
- A number of our students are still at or near Stanford this summer, working various internships. Please pray that we would continue to build each other up as we spend time face-to-face this summer.
- Please also pray for Ministry Director Garrett Brown, myself, and our families, that we would grow in the grace and joy of Christ!
Thank you for your partnership with us through prayer!
