The students and team in Palo Alto are in the middle of our summer rhythms, enjoying a slightly different pace and landscape. While this is a great time to refresh, we also expect God to continue His work in the lives of our students while they are away from the demands of school. Please join us in prayer this summer for the following:
- As we wrote last month, many of our students have committed together to read through the New Testament in 90 days this summer. Please continue to pray for these times, that there would be challenge and reward as we pore through the life and words of Jesus and the emergence of His church. We ask for prayer for encouragement and endurance, as for many of these students this is the first time committing to such a task!
- Several of our Stanford students remain local, working for or near the school. Pray for their growth in Christ, for love for the student body and administration, and for rich times with each other and CU staff this summer.
- Pray for those students going overseas for family, work, or mission-related opportunities. Pray for safety, and for new and refreshing ways to hear from God in a cross-cultural context.
- We are looking for volunteers to work with our growing group of female students this fall. Pray for the right women to come forward with a passion and calling to come alongside this ministry.
- Please also pray for Ministry Fellow Justin Woyak and myself, as we sharpen our skills and serve our families this summer.
As always, we are so grateful for your partnership and your prayer.
