Greetings from Palo Alto!
Students are gearing up to return, or arrive for the first time, to Stanford’s campus toward the end of September. We would love for them to benefit from your prayers!
We will be studying Colossians this fall. Paul’s claim that Christ “is before all things, and in him all things hold together” forms the heartbeat of this powerful letter. Please pray for our entire community of Christian Union Caritas, that we would live in this truth and that Christ would be everything to each of us!
Please also pray for our returning students, that this upcoming year would be one of advance in their faith and growth in Christlikeness and love. Whether their summers went well or not, pray that they would begin this year with Christ in his rightful place in their lives, full of the Holy Spirit and joy.
And please pray for the ~1,800 incoming freshmen, who are about to experience one of the biggest transitions so far in their lives. May God show them his love and salvation through his people on Stanford’s campus this year, and may they turn to him!
