Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” -Matthew 24:14

Even as the spring semester comes to a rapid close, we have had a flurry of great events here, and the campus is buzzing with spiritual conversations! In mid-March we hosted CU Proclaim!, a week of evangelism training and evangelism on campus where students at Princeton and students visiting from CU Lux at Yale, CU Vox at Dartmouth, and CU Lumine at Columbia honed their skills and boldly proclaimed the gospel across Princeton’s campus!

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Princeton!

As I write this, the sun is shining, the weather is warming up, and Princeton students are off enjoying their spring break, having worked hard through midterms the week before. Passion for the gospel among our students is growing! Our February got off to a great start with 98 students attending our first Encounter of the semester! We also have a new group of students who are going out on campus to evangelize every Friday night before Encounter! Another new group is doing intercessory prayer on Tuesday nights for Princeton. And our Noon Prayer attendance has nearly quadrupled every day this semester! It has been powerful to see so many students come to pray for an hour every weekday.

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Princeton!

The second semester is well underway, and students have been busy adding and dropping classes, joining eating clubs, and seniors have the added stress of job applications while writing their Senior Theses. Yet in the midst of the stress of student life, God is on the move!

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Princeton!

As I look back on 2024, I’m thankful for the power of God at work among Princeton students. Some highlights have included a great Freshman Welcoming Campaign, a powerful fall retreat, and some record turnouts at our Friday night Leadership Lecture Series. I’m personally blessed to have an amazing student leadership team that has stepped up in critical ways to take this ministry forward from difficult times after the pandemic. The culture and passion among our students have improved dramatically this past year, and our student leaders have had a large part to play in this regard.

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

I have loved sharing monthly updates with you this year about Christian Union Nova at Princeton. And I would love your help to end 2024 strong!

Princeton University needs healthy Christian ministries, now more than ever, to provide for the needs of its students who are seeking to know or grow in Christ. In the last year, we've seen many lives transformed by God's grace and power.

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

God is on the move! After a very eventful and successful Freshmen Welcoming Campaign, our students have settled into their Bible courses, studying the Gospel of Mark. Our ministry fellows are seeing our students engage with the Scripture, spurring one another on to seek the Lord. Even throughout October, newcomers have inquired about how to get involved in our Bible courses. One sophomore student, an atheist, has been coming regularly to our weekly Leadership Lecture Series, since most of his friends are a part of CU Nova. This year, he has finally requested to join in with one of our Sophomore Bible courses! He spoke to a ministry fellow recently, saying, “I think I’ve investigated faith from every angle I need to. All that’s left for me is to experience it….I’m open to change.” Please pray for his salvation!

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Princeton!

In this monthly email, I'd love to share with you a recent article about how God is moving at Christian Union Nova to give you encouragement and inspiration that your support is changing lives at Princeton University.

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Princeton!

This month, Christian Union Nova students and leaders are working around the clock to welcome freshmen to our campus and to our ministry! We recently hosted a pre-retreat to plan all the events and details of this month-long campaign and to grow in the Lord!

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Our students began the month of May by taking their last finals and heading out for their summer plans. Many are pursuing internships, and some are working and studying around the world. Just this past week, I was able to connect one of our current students who is working in Japan this summer with an alumnus from our ministry who lives and works in Tokyo! What a blessing to have such an incredible alumni network at Princeton and through CU Nova.

At the end of the year, many students shared testimonies with us about their experience in our Bible courses. One student remarked, “I think my involvement in CU Bible Course has been the most impactful and beneficial thing to my spiritual walk.” Another said, “This community has given me my favorite memories of Princeton.” It’s amazing to see our students grow in love for the Lord and for each other throughout the year as they engage with CU Nova.

Dear CU Nova Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Spring is in the air, and the Holy Spirit is on the move at Princeton! We’ve just wrapped up our Bible courses for the year with seniors completing our “Vocational Prep” course, equipping them with a theology of work, money, and giving. Our juniors and sophomores completed our Romans course, delving into some of the richest theology of salvation in the Bible. And our freshman just finished our Sex and Spirituality Bible course, learning about God’s design for sexuality, marriage, and the family.

Our freshman men gathered together this week for a BBQ and firepit and reflected on their experiences this year at Princeton. Invariably, they answered that the best part about Princeton is the Christian community and the friends they’ve made in Christian Union!
