Thank you for your continued prayers on behalf of Christian Union NY! As we are wrapping up our fiscal year, we are reflecting on the goodness of God to our ministry and our city this past year. As fruit from your faithful prayers, we have seen fast growth in the ministry—from establishing a board of directors, to hiring an executive assistant, to expanding CU Fires more than twofold! To God be all praise and glory! We have truly tasted and seen the goodness of the Lord this past year (Psalm 34: 8).
We know that when the saints cry out, the Lord hears! In this vein of faith, we are asking for your prayers for this upcoming fiscal year as we continue moving in our mission to seek a spiritually vibrant nation, marked by Christian values, permeating every corner of society. We eagerly anticipate the ways we will see the Kingdom of God advance right here in New York City!
- Pray for the Holy Spirit to impart wisdom and direction as the Board finalizes all-new objectives, metrics, and budget details for this upcoming fiscal year.
- Pray that the Lord will open the eyes and the hearts of leaders in NY through the relationships established through Christian Union. Pray that God would let the light of His truth flood in and reveal His hope and glorious riches to them! (Ephesians 1:18)
- Pray that the Lord would raise up a new army of Cornerstone Partners and CUNY Friends, who are ready to put on the full armor of God and support the ministry!
- Pray that each individual board and staff member would be convicted in this busy season to “be still and know that he is God,” trusting in his promises alone for this upcoming year. (Psalm 46:10)
