As we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus, may the body of Christ in NYC and across all humanity, cast one giant net of gospel proclamation. The Lord has graciously raised us from death to life and it is our high privilege and responsibility to be fishers of men.
As we lift our arms to magnify the resurrected King Jesus, may we simultaneously draw up the sides of the fishing net together out of the water. Lord, draw all men to yourself. As we glorify and testify of You before men, draw so many fish that the nets break! Man of Sorrows, in Your presence is the fullness of joy; through Your death and resurrection, we die and are raised to new life with You.
Contend in prayer with Christian Union NY for:
- The prodigals to come home
- All our households be saved
- The kindness of the Lord to lead us to repentance of any grievances or quenching of the Holy Spirit
- The Healer to heal us of all our sins and brokenness, and walk us to wholeness and fellowship
- Grace to humble ourselves and unify in His name
- Unity across the body of Christ that commands a blessing
- An outpouring of the Holy Spirit in response to our humility, prayer, repentance, and unified pursuit of Him
- A mighty rescuing of the hurting and lost to the Author of Life and Author of our Salvation
May the good and perfect will of the Father be fulfilled in you as we turn our hearts to Him.
