Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
We continue to give thanks for our partners who, through their prayers and financial support, make the work here at Brown possible. We are rapidly approaching mid-semester in the academic calendar and students will be enjoying spring break later this month. We are so grateful for the work the Lord has done here on campus! Our students just hosted a Table Talk, in which they invited friends to come for dinner and a Q&A on matters of faith and theology. It was such a joy to see them welcoming their peers into the Judson Center for an encouraging and lively discussion. Please join us in praying for those students who attended with doubts in their hearts and minds. Pray that the light and love of Christ will be made abundantly clear to them in the days to come and that any obstacles to faith would be removed.
In February, we transitioned to our new student leadership team. We were very excited to see how the Lord will use them in the months to come. Their passion for Christ and their love for this campus are so obvious and so contagious. They are a mature and excited group, and we’ve been so impressed by their willingness to embrace the challenges and sacrifices required of leading a student ministry. Please join us in praying that the Spirit will inspire their imaginations and cultivate hearts on fire for the gospel. There is much planning to be done and soon they will begin making plans to greet incoming students.
Our seniors have had a very different college experience than they ever anticipated. Through all the ups and downs, they have exhibited patience and mirth well beyond their years. Pray for them as they apply for internships and work through the admissions process for graduate school. Many of them will take a gap year and work jobs. Wherever they may be heading next, please pray that they will finish strong here at Brown. Pray that they will desire to leave a legacy, one not marked by academic achievement alone, but by testimonies of lives changed through their witness. Pray that logistics will come together and that the Lord will lift the acute anxieties and stress that so often precede commencement.
Thank you for your love and partnership at CU Libertas.
