Midterms have begun, student schedules are packed and it’s still winter, but there is an excitement in the air with what God is doing at Columbia University through Christian Union Lumine. We are seeing higher turnout for our Leadership Lecture Series nights, impromptu prayer gatherings among the students and a feeling of community and togetherness even in the midst of all the transitions. Thank you for your continued prayers for the work on this campus. Here are ways you can be praying for us this month:
- Pray for continued unity among the students
- Pray that the students would prioritize studying scripture and seeking God’s face in prayer in the midst of busy schedules
- Pray that the students would have boldness to invite their friends to be a part of what God is doing through the ministry of Christian Union here at Columbia
- Pray that our one-on-one discipleship meetings are honest, Spirit-led times
- of counsel and guidance for our students
- Pray that our upcoming outreach event would be a success in leading new students to Christian Union Lumine
- Pray always that students would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ and follow him
Once again, thank you for standing in the gap and seeking God’s face for this ministry. We are beginning to experience the fruit of all the prayers lifted up to God.
