It’s amazing how quickly things are changing daily in the midst of this pandemic. Columbia University has officially moved all its classes online and the majority of students are no longer on the campus. These are unprecedented times and there are a lot of unknowns. In the midst of unknowns, we hold on to God and the truth that He is still in control. We are seeking the Lord for His wisdom and direction for Christian Union Lumine at Columbia University. Thank you for your continued prayers for the work on this campus. Here are ways you can be praying for us this month:

• Pray for the leadership and student executive team as we seek God’s wisdom for the best ways to minister to the students and create gospel-centered community.
• Pray for all the students that are back home and the few that are still on the campus. Pray that they would not allow anxiety to overtake their hearts as so many unknowns are thrown at them, but instead run to God and find peace.
• Pray for the Bible Courses and one-on-one discipleships that will take place online. Pray that these meetings will lead to honest, Spirit-led times of conversation and counsel.
• Pray that the students would prioritize studying scripture and seeking God’s face in prayer with their new schedules at home.
• Pray for the new students that will be connecting with us and seeking Christian community.

Once again, thank you for standing in the gap and seeking God’s face for this ministry. If there ever was a moment to pray, it is now. Thank you for seeking God’s face with us.
