Soon our students will complete summer classes or internships and head home for a week or two before returning for the fall semester. On behalf of the students who are a part of the CU Lumine community, thank you for your continuous support and prayers for the ministry. Without you, we could not have done this past year. As we gear up for the fall, I have been fasting and praying with other leaders this summer, asking God to move in a new and powerful way this fall semester. I’ve been meeting with the student executive team and ministry team leaders to plan for our fall calendar. The students look forward to our pre-retreat from August 24th to 27th. During pre-retreat, we will be seeking God, creating a biblically based community, and various ways to welcome incoming freshman students to the campus during NSOP (New Student Orientation Program) and the following weeks.
Would you please join us in praying for the following:
- Pre-retreat: Pray for all the students who will be attending. Pray that God will profoundly visit us as we seek His face and give us wisdom and creativity as we plan our freshman welcoming events during NSOP.
- Student Ministry Leaders: Pray for the student leaders as they plan for the upcoming semester. Pray that God will give them wisdom, insight, and strength to accomplish all the tasks before them. Pray that the summer will be a time of their hearts being refreshed.
- Incoming Freshman: Pray for all the new students joining Columbia this fall. Pray that they will connect with Christian Union Lumine students and experience the hope and joy of the Gospel through deep and meaningful relationships.
