Dear CU Lumine Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,
Greetings from New York City!
We are off and running for the semester here at Christian Union Lumine. Columbia University's campus has come to life and the surrounding streets are buzzing with activity as usual. We have the opportunity to share the gospel with over 9,761 students, which includes a freshman class of 1,500.
We have hosted a number of events over the past two weeks for incoming freshmen, transfers, and returning students at our ministry center. We had over 100 students come out for our midnight ice cream on campus at Butler Law and a BBQ at the ministry center. We also had a church outing where students were invited by our executive team members to the various churches they attend to get them plugged into a local church community. We also had our first Illumina meeting which is our large group gathering where over 60 students attended. We had a powerful time of worship, and I shared a talk with them on “Building a Strong Foundation.” I was able to encourage five or more students to recommit their lives to Christ at the end of the talk. Praise God!
I want to thank you for your encouragement, prayers, and continued support for the ministry here at Christian Union Lumine. We could not do the work God has called us to do without you.
Your support changes the lives of students at Columbia.
Blessings in Christ,
Craig Holliday
