Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

This is a wonderful and sad time of year! We had the bittersweet privilege of saying goodbye to our seniors over commencement weekend, celebrating with their families, and wishing them well as they begin the next chapter of their lives. Over the course of four years, we are blessed to witness firsthand the growth and maturation of these young men and women. We see the Lord work in their lives and walk with them through the ups and downs of their college careers. It’s so rewarding and we’re so thankful that we have the opportunity to work with them, even if it’s just for a few all-too-brief years.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Christian Union Libertas! We are so thankful for your partnership in supporting the work here at Brown.

The students are in the middle of reading week, studying for final exams, and putting the final touches on papers and group projects. Our seniors are looking forward to commencement exercises later this month.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Christian Union Libertas! We are so thankful for partners like you that support the work here at Brown. We have seen the Lord at work here on campus—lives are being changed as students come to know the deep, glorious love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

We continue to give thanks for our partners who, through their prayers and financial support, make the work here at Brown possible. We are rapidly approaching mid-semester in the academic calendar and students will be enjoying spring break later this month.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Providence! The spring semester is underway as students began the spring semester on January 26th. Covid continues to wreak havoc in the northeast, especially here in Rhode Island. Fortunately, students will be attending classes in person and we do not anticipate any disruptions to our ministry calendar. It has been so wonderfully refreshing to greet students as they return to campus, and the time spent praying with them has been a blessing.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

On behalf of all the staff and students at Christian Union Libertas, let me wish you a very Happy New Year! Thank you for your partnership in 2021, for your many prayers and financial contributions. We have so much to be thankful for and are filled with gratitude for all the great things the Lord has done here in the ministry and across campus.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

It’s hard to believe that the fall semester is already coming to a close! In just a few short weeks, and after many coffee-fueled late night study sessions (who among us doesn’t procrastinate?), our students will submit their final papers and take their last exams before heading home. We’re all looking forward to a little rest after a busy season, but it’s so bittersweet. We’ve been blessed beyond measure by a truly wonderful group of young women and men who so eagerly seek the Lord! They’ve poured their heart into one another and into spreading the love of Christ across campus. In a few days, we’ll be putting up a Christmas tree in the Judson Center and celebrating Christmas together before saying many sad goodbyes as they leave campus.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

Greetings from Providence!

It’s hard to believe that it’s already November. We continue to give thanks to the Lord for the new faces that joined our ministry since the start of the semester, and we are so thankful that we’ve been able to meet in-person for Bible courses and discipleship meetings. The students are craving the warmth and assurance of personal interaction, and thanks to your financial support, we’ve been able to host family dinners and praise nights at the Judson Center. These community-wide events have proven to be so beneficial in providing students spiritual and emotional support as they re-adjust to life on campus following the turmoil of the last 18 months.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

The last few weeks have been such a blessing for the team here at Brown! The weather continues to cool down, the leaves are beginning to change to familiar autumn hues, and, for the first time in two years, we’ve been able to welcome freshmen to campus. Your faithful support has made it possible for us to greet many of these students face-to-face, hosting them for meals at the Judson Center and grabbing coffee on Thayer Street. Additionally, we’ve been able to connect with a number of sophomores who weren’t in-person last fall. These students desire to be a part of Christian community; they’re eager to pray together, desperate to see the Lord move on campus, and, perhaps more than at any point in recent memory, motivated for the work of evangelism and outreach.

Dear CU Libertas Cornerstone Partners and friends of the ministry,

The end of summer is fast approaching! The nights are getting cooler, there’s a slight hint of red in the leaves, and Thayer Street is getting busier as students slowly return to campus. We eagerly await the full arrival of the class of 2025 and preparations are well underway to welcome them on campus. We are so thankful that God has opened the door for in-person learning and the opportunity to host events at the Judson Center. We can’t wait to gather the returning students together over shared meals and Bible study! This is a busy time for them; shopping classes, settling into new living arrangements, finding jobs, and reconnecting with old friends. But, even in the midst of all that, they always go the extra mile in greeting incoming freshmen and connecting them into the Christian community here at Brown.
